If at first you don't secede, maybe you need a little bit more Tea

Don't Let Oklahoma hit you on the way out!

Okay, What's the difference between what these extremists are doing up in Austin and sedition? From what I could immediately find online, sedition is overt conduct, such as speech and organization, that is deemed by the legal authority to tend toward insurrection against the established order. Typically, sedition is considered a subversive act, and the overt acts that may be prosecutable under sedition laws vary from one legal code to another.  The question then is, why aren't these people in jail? It certain appears that they are inciting insurrection against the established order. I reckon' y'all fixin' to go to that there jail.

From Houston Chronicle online-Austin

AUSTIN — The Texas Nationalist Movement marked Texas Independence Day with a rally on Saturday at the Capitol urging Texans to save the state by seceding from the United States. A small but enthusiastic group of Texas patriots gathered on the steps of the Capitol, as an assortment of massive Texas flags blew above them in the chilly afternoon breeze.

Outrage was spread evenly toward Democrats and Republicans as leaders of the movement expressed their disgust for the growing national debt and the federal government's treatment of Texas. "Texas can take better care of itself than Washington," said Lauren Savage, vice president of the movement. "We are here to raise interest in the Legislature of the possibility of secession to cure the ills of America." Members are demanding that state lawmakers introduce a bill that would allow Texans to vote on whether to declare independence.
